My buddy Keith was doing a taping of his new hour long comedy special and needed a quick and easy set.
We decided sparse jail furnishings and some light on a back wall would be the best way to go since it all had to get set up and torn down on the same day.
I was able to find a cot easily enough but a jail toilet proved impossible to get.
So, I decided to make one.
I had a bunch of blue foam so I cobbled it together and speckled up the seams.
A quick brush of silver paint and some random bits and bobs later and it looked great.
With some help from my friend Ron, I was able to get a good wash of light on the background that looked good live and in camera.
