Halloween Mask

Two things happened. Number one, I didn’t know what to be for Halloween. Number two, I subscribed to Wayne White’s Instagram.

Wayne was posting a bunch of pics and video from a parade of students who had gone to a workshop about making giant masks out of cardboard and it looked super cool. I happened to have a bunch of cardboard so I pulled it out and got to work.

I sketched out Frankenstein’s monster (because he’s my favorite) and cut the shape out with a box knife. I put the pieces together with hot glue.

The blank looked pretty good but before I could get all the pieces put together I ran out of hot glue.

After a trip to the hardware store I came home and knocked it all into shape and then painted it.

For my first giant mask it came out pretty great, and went together way faster than I thought it was going to.

Happy Halloween!
